Collection || AW"12: Lover's Carvings

Christian Louboutin "Lace Chantilly" Heels

I've had this lovely dress for months, but never found an occasion fit enough to
bring this out to see sunlight.

Well, after some deliberation, what better time than the present right ?

I'm quite fond of this dress, not just for the colour and the way it hugs,

but for the mesh cutout bits on the front and back
(although it is quite hard to see on the front in these photos).

I decided to bring my lovely Louboutin heels out for a spin as well on this day.

I protect them with my life, so they also hardly see the light of day.

My precious, they are.

It was a sunny, albeit breezy day, which gave me the opportunity to wear my vintage cape
I bought a few months back.

Memorable || Ceremonials by Phenomenal Florence

Who/What: Florence & The Machine, Ceremonials Concert
When: Thursday 24 May 2012
Where: Sydney Entertainment Centre

Florence & The Machine's magical performance last night left me speechless.

With the exception of the intimate show held at The Sydney Opera House,
her performance last night was the only other grand show in Sydney for this tour.

A group of us were fortunate enough to stand so-gosh-darn-close to the stage,
that, that alone felt like an honor just to be an arm's reach away from her.
From soaring vocals, beautiful lyrics, a graceful demeanour, to an overall breathtaking stage presence,
I cannot convey just how emotive her performance had been.
This humble lady with lungs so powerful, her soulful voice filled the entire arena.

As I sit here re-living her show through photographs and videos I captured,
I am most definitely, without a doubt, am looking forward to posting a proper post dedicated to this beautiful soul.

On behalf of everyone who saw you last night, thank you Florence for being absolutely phenomenal,
it was an absolute privilege to be part of your night.

Collection || AW"12: Interwoven Blues

Amiable Woven Top/ Motel Lee Blue Jeans from Market HQ/ Siren Heels/ Marcs Bag

I've hardly had the chance to wear these Motel Jeans even though I've had them since late last year,
but with Winter approaching, I'm finding them to be a perect fit for these cooler months
as they are surprisingly quite thick.
I had a hard time trying to find a top that matched these jeans, and some bottoms that would go well with this top.
So as it turns out, they were a good match together.
I really like how a neutral colour balanced out the burst of blue.
Add a dash of basic black, and viola, a casual number fit for a late lunch and a stroll in the park.

Stepping out from behind the lens, my love and I composed a few fun photographs together.
It's moments like these we remind ourselves it's important to not take life so seriously sometimes.
From Hippie Cousin It in sunnies, to piggyback rides,
to romantic dips (what has become our signature move), to sweet innocent kisses,
we know the most special parts of life are best spent in such company
that cause immense amounts of giggles and laughter.
